Zendaya, alongside her creative director Law Roach, stepped out in another tennis-themed outfit for her Challengers press tour in Australia. The actress shared a glimpse of her ensemble on Instagram, featuring a white crop top, high-waisted underwear, and a netted maxi skirt with a thigh-high leg slit. This look was custom-designed by Lacoste and accessorized with Bulgari jewelry. Despite looking stunning, Zendaya encountered a minor issue with her stilettos getting caught in the net while posing for pictures.
Law Roach also posted detailed shots of Zendaya’s outfit on Instagram, showcasing the intricate design of the custom ensemble. This isn’t the first time Zendaya has rocked a unique look during the press tour. Previously, she wore a custom green Loewe dress with a tennis player motif at the Sydney movie premiere.
In the movie Challengers, Zendaya portrays the character of Tashi, a femme fatale and former tennis player turned coach. In an interview with ELLE, Zendaya shared her thoughts on taking on this challenging role, stating, “I felt like it was a good step into a more, I guess you could say, ‘grown-up’ role and into that next phase.” She admitted to feeling a bit scared but also excited about pushing her boundaries as an actress.
Even after completing the project, Zendaya confessed that she still grapples with understanding her character’s decisions. She mentioned having numerous discussions to delve into the motivations behind Tashi’s actions. Zendaya emphasized the importance of portraying a character who is unapologetic in her choices, adding depth and complexity to the role.
