Hailey Opens Up About Her Pregnancy
In a recent interview with W magazine, Hailey candidly spoke about her pregnancy journey and addressed misconceptions about her marriage with Justin. Despite being well into her pregnancy when she announced the news in early May, Hailey managed to keep it under wraps for a long time. She revealed, “I was honestly able to keep it quiet because I stayed small for a long time. I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which was when I announced it. I was able to wear big jackets and stuff.”
Hailey admitted that at one point, she considered keeping the pregnancy a secret until the very end. However, the pressure of hiding such a significant aspect of her life took a toll on her. She explained, “I probably could have hid it until the end. But I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
Addressing Relationship Rumors
Hailey also took the opportunity to address the ongoing rumors surrounding her marriage with Justin. She expressed frustration over the negative speculation that has surrounded their relationship from the beginning. Hailey shared, “People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one. ‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy.”
Throughout their relationship, Hailey has had to contend with hurtful comments and false narratives about her marriage. She acknowledged the emotional toll that such rumors can have, saying, “I used to try to act like it hurts less and less. I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be.” Despite the challenges, Hailey remains resolute in her commitment to her marriage and her growing family.
